our story
Right now our story reads like this: I am a stay at home mom raising and taking care of our 3 kids while my husband works a job that has required him to re-locate for the last year. We travel to see him every other weekend and on school holidays. It is crazy (at least that is what everyone else tells me) but it is working. At least I think it is. But now we are trying to think ahead to what we want to do when this job is over. We did the he works 8-6 thing and hated it. I think we don't like routine, the same thing day in and day out. Now when it comes to the kids, I like routine, in some aspects. So back to our story, I feel like now is the time to start thinking about changing our story. I guess I am just wondering what we are going to do with our lives. Part of it comes from the book I am reading right now (A Million Miles in a Thousand Year by Donald Miller), part comes from I think God planting the seed that there is more to this life and I am seeing what people we know are doing on the mission field, and Anthony thinks I am having a mid-life crisis. I think I am a planner and want to figure out what the rest of my life holds. I don't want to look back when I am 80 and have just shells to show for my life and legacy. So I think I will just keep adding to this blog things I want to add to my/our story.
